Description: Two financial years of software bookings — 4,224 records across eleven
territories, four product lines, four sales channels and three customer segments — with a
docked smart-pivot-panel beside the Grid. Drag a field between the Rows / Columns / Values wells
to re-pivot, right-click a field for the same moves without dragging, or use the panel's
Filters tab to narrow the bookings — a filter runs before aggregation, so the totals are
recomputed from what survives rather than masked.
Pivot Mode off shows the bookings one row each; on aggregates
Region → Country → Product Line down the side by Year → Quarter across the top.
Value cells carry a colour scale over the leaf rows, so the shape of the book reads at a glance.
The designer is the same element smart-pivot-table uses — it takes a field list in and emits
one change event, so the Grid reuses it rather than growing a second one.
Pivot is a native view, so everything else keeps working: drag-select a range of cells, copy with
Ctrl+C, resize and reorder columns. Row groups are ordinary tree rows, so the expanders come for
free, and the column axis becomes collapsible banded headers — click a year to fold it to its total.
