Because the component extends Smart.Tank, clamping, coercion to an interval, logarithmic scales, alarm ranges, units, inversion, right-to-left layout and the keyboard behaviour of the slider are inherited. This includes the mechanicalAction property, which defines when the control commits its value.
Four settings of a temperature controller. Drag around a dial or up and down over it to change the value; the arrow keys, Home and End also work. Each change is a change event that the application writes to the controller, listed under the panel. The setpoint knob carries the alarm ranges of the loop, so the operator sees where the setting sits before it is written.
The knobStyle property selects a pointer, a dot on the dial or an arc that fills from the start of the scale.
Ranges are inherited from Tank, so a range has the same meaning as on a gauge or a tank. A logarithmic scale keeps the bottom decades usable, and coerce with an interval snaps the value to steps.
Keyboard: Tab to a knob, then use the arrow keys to step, Page Up and Page Down for larger steps, and Home and End for the limits.
