Graphs axes and data cached between calls

If I call a graph the first time, the correct data is displayed. If I call a different graph the second time, the original one is displayed. If I call the same one again, then the correct data is displayed (I  have to create the graph twice to get it to display the right data)

 

Is there a way to specify to not used cached data when creating the graph?

Can you please share a code example of this? Calling chart.update() after setting the new data should be enough to fully update the chart.
