Unwanted onchange event

I’m using trial version.
I used the combobox widget and inserted and onchange event handler (which refreshes the screen).
When the page is loaded the onchange event fires (I don’t know if it’s caused from the banner containing the url or not) and my page refreshes again and again.
Nobody changes anything and then why the onchange is fired ?
Sombody can help ?
